This issue of the Mackinac Center's monthly magazine served as a capstone project for my first design internship. Though I had been involved with the design of previous issues, I took it up a level with this one, starting with a photoshoot of a low-income school that had exceeded all expectations that year and was honored in the top spot of the Center's "School Report Card". I integrated those photos into the magazine and created custom art and layouts to flesh out the issue.

Though my design has evolved in the many years since, this publication was one of my first projects that I produced from start to finish, and I caught the bug of taking pride in my work as it goes before the public. It's only grown since then.
